AL FAHM MASALA

Neyyar Al Fahm Masala helps you prepare authentic Arabic-style charcoal-grilled chicken with a deep, smoky flavour and rich spices.


Ingredients

  • Chicken – 1 whole or 1 kg (skin removed, deep cuts)
  • Neyyar Al Fahm Masala – 3–4 tbsp
  • Yoghurt (thick curd) – ½ cup
  • Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tbsp
  • Lemon juice – 1–2 tbsp
  • Oil – 2 tbsp
  • Salt—as required

Preparation Method

  1. Clean the chicken and make deep cuts for better marination.
  2. In a bowl, mix Neyyar Al Fahm Masala, yoghurt, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, oil, and salt.
  3. Apply the marinade evenly over the chicken, ensuring it reaches the cuts.
  4. Cover and marinate for 4–6 hours (overnight preferred for best taste).
  5. Grill the marinated chicken over charcoal, in an oven, or on a grill pan.
  6. Cook on medium heat, turning occasionally, until well-cooked and charred on the outside.
  7. Rest for a few minutes before serving.

Serving Suggestion

Serve hot with khuboos, garlic sauce, mayonnaise, and fresh salad.
